Section of Glenwood bike path closed due to high water

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado – The Colorado Department of Transportation has closed the Glenwood Canyon bike path along Interstate 70 from the Bair Ranch Rest Area to the east end of the canyon due to high and standing water.

The path also still remains closed from the Shoshone Power Plant to Hanging Lake Tunnel (mm 123 to 125). As of this morning there was no estimate as to when the path will reopen.

Updates will be provided as more information becomes available. These and other restrictions are posted on CDOT’s Traveler Information website, at http://www.cotrip.org.
