Selfies: Bridge work continues one month to detour

Crews continue to make progress on the new Grand Avenue Bridge as the detour deadline gets closer and closer. Ongoing improvements and detail work on the new traffic bridge will be one of the main projects taking place until the detour, which is scheduled for Aug. 14. The 7th Street Station elevator officially opened on Tuesday afternoon and is now the main ADA access to the new pedestrian bridge which connects downtown Glenwood Springs to Sixth Street. Crews have only a few more weeks to finish concrete pours to complete the first span of the traffic bridge barrier.
