Selfies: Spring is in the air at the Mountain Valley Developmental Services Greenhouse

The Mountain Valley Developmental Services Greenhouse and the city of Glenwood Springs team up each year to fill downtown planters and help bring color and vibrancy to the heart of Glenwood. Greenhouse Operations Manager Adam Juul and city of Glenwood Springs Parks and Recreation maintenance worker Staci Andrassy work together year-round to plan for the summer season. The greenhouse staff started planting seeds in late January and will continue tending to the plants until late June. Mountain Valley employs 19 individuals at the greenhouse alone and are open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. They will begin their bedding plant sale in May. For more information about the greenhouse, go to mtnvalley.org.
