Sen. White named to Youth Crime Prevention Board

State Senate Minority Leader Mike Kopp, R-Littleton, appointed Sen. Jean White, R-Hayden, to the Tony Grampsas Youth Services Board, which funds local organizations that help reduce youth crime and violence.

“I believe early intervention is critical in helping at-risk youth turn their lives around,” White said Tuesday.

A former educator, White spent years working with children and teenagers in schools and extracurricular programs.
