Those 50 and over are encouraged to come to the Glenwood Springs Community Center, have coffee and doughnuts, read the paper, play cards or board games, just relax and enjoy free socializing from 9-11 a.m. every Monday and Wednesday. Computers are available for Internet use, and help will be available.

Transportation will also be available.

The Battlement Mesa Activity Center is sponsoring the newly revised AARP Driver Safety Course. The class will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan.15 and 16. The course is directed towards drivers age 50 and over.



A nominal fee covers all materials. Call the Battlement Mesa Activity Center at 285-9480 to register. Automobile insurance companies in Colorado offer a discount to those completing the course.
