Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado

High Country RSVP offers a program for senior and disabled tax assistance, serving those in Aspen, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, New Castle, Silt, Rifle, and Parachute, and relies on volunteers to be tax counselors for this very important program.

Volunteers are needed, particularly in the Carbondale and Rifle area. Training is provided, and each volunteer must pass a test required by the IRS. RSVP provides plenty of help to pass the test.

Qualifications? Willingness and some love for numbers, plus a desire to work with seniors and those in need.

Training will be held Jan. 7 and 8 at the Blake CMC Campus, 1402 Blake (behind the Glenwood Springs City Market) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

The time commitment from each volunteer is variable, based volunteer’s time schedules in February, March, and April; but generally takes about four hours a week, but can be more or less depending on the volunteer.

Please contact RSVP at 947-8462 or ccain@coloradomtn.edu.
