Sharon (Rogers) South, 53, of Rifle passed away Nov. 8, 2011.

Sharon was born Dec. 21, 1957 in Smithville, Mo. to Lloyd D. and Georgia (Fisher) Rogers. Sharon moved to Rifle in 1996 from Kansas City, Kan. She worked as a truck driver until 2005 when she had to retire due to medical reasons.

Sharon loved her family with all her heart; she became “mom” to everyone her children brought home. She will be forever loved and deeply missed.



Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Rogers.

She leaves behind her mother, Georgia Sue Wayne; sons Adam Wesley Smith and Billy Ray McGee; brothers Dennis Duane Rogers, Albert Lloyd Rogers, Harry Guy Rogers and Jerry Lynn Rogers; five grandchildren and her two dogs, Jake and Emma.



A private family service will be held at a later date.
