Sherry Gail Tresedder
Sherry Gail Tresedder, 45, passed away unexpectedly March 26, 2008, at her Rifle home.
Sherry was born Aug. 24, 1962, in Montrose, to Carmen and Betty (Dyer) White. Her family moved to California when she was a young girl.
Sherry moved back to Colorado in the early ’90s.
She worked as a cashier for most of her life. Sherry loved people, had a very big heart, and would help anyone that needed help. She also loved animals, especially her dog, Lobo.
She is survived by her mother; husband Blane Tresedder; daughters Karmen and Regina; stepson Daniel; brother Jay; sister Janie; two grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
Sherry was preceded in death by her father.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Sherry Tresedder Memorial Fund at any local Alpine Bank.
Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at the Rifle Funeral Home. Her cremains will then be buried with her father at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 6, in Norwood.

Understaffing in local law enforcement agencies hinders ability to patrol downtown
Glenwood Springs Police Chief Joseph Deras lamented his department’s inability to maintain a constant presence downtown during a virtual public forum Monday night.
