Shirley Annette Knox

Shirley Annette Knox of Battlement Mesa died Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs.

She was 82.

Her cremated remains will be inurned at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 12, at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.



She was born May 27, 1921, in Washington, D.C., to Mary “Molly” Beck and Charles L. Ruppert Jr.

She married Howard Knox. He preceded her in death on March 19, 2002, in Rifle.



Mrs. Knox worked as an accountant for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.

She lived in Battlement Mesa since 1998.

She is survived by a stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Michael and Kathy Knox.

Farnum Holt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
