Silt Heyday looking for volunteers

SILT, Colorado – The 40th anniversary celebration of Silt Heyday is Aug. 1, with a theme of “Remembering the ’60s,” and organizers are now looking for volunteers, parade entries and booth applicants.

“We hope to make this an even better event than previous years,” declared organizer Betsy Swank in a press release on the event.

This year live music will be provided by Heart of the Rockies at breakfast, The Strolling Scones in the afternoon, and regional favorite The Johnny O Band in the evening.

Forms for booth spaces and parade entries have been mailed to those who participated in previous years, and can be picked up at Silt Town Hall, 231 N. Seventh St., and anyone interested in volunteering can call 876-5801.
