Sister Ann Donegan

Sister Ann Donegan, of Mehlville, Mo., died Friday, March 22, 2002, at Nazareth Living Center in Mehlville. She was 76.

She was born in Glenwood Springs, Colo., and entered the order of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 1945. She professed her final vows in 1950.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in 1957 from St. Teresa College in Kansas City and a master’s degree in reading in 1961 from Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee, Wis.



She started her teaching career in 1947 in St. Louis, Mo. She later taught and worked as an administrator in Kansas City and Chicago, Ill., and at schools in Georgia, Alabama, Colorado and Nevada.

She had no immediate survivors.



A memorial Mass was celebrated in Mehlville and her body was donated to the St. Louis University Medical School.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, 6400 Minnesota Ave., St. Louis, MO 63111.
