Six named to P&Z

GLENWOOD SPRINGS – The Garfield County commissioners Tuesday selected six candidates to serve on the Garfield County Planning and Zoning Commission. Following a series of 15-minute individual interviews, commissioners reappointed incumbents Mike Deer of Glenwood Springs and David Stover of Carbondale to the commission. In addition, commissioners boosted alternate Colin Laird of Carbondale to a regular position. Commissioners also appointed Kit Lyon of Rifle to a regular post.Selected to serve as associate planning commission members are Bob Fullerton of Missouri Heights and Jock Jacober of Glenwood Springs.All planning commission members were appointed to three-year terms.The commission meets the second Wednesday evening of each month.
