Snowmaking begins at Glenwood’s Sunlight Resort

With morning temperatures dropping to 12 degrees, well below freezing, Sunlight Mountain Resort began making snow Wednesday. Last weekend’s storm dumped 7 inches on the mountain, and plans are still in place for the ski area to open Dec. 14, a little over a month away.
