GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado – The return of Kaleb from Kaleb’s Katch is occurring this weekend. The mouth-watering salmon wraps, as well as fresh frozen sockeye salmon portions, will be available. Stop in and swap fish tales while shopping.

Farmer Dave’s grilling steaks and thick-sliced bacon along with the eight to 10 varieties of Pappardelle’s ravioli and pasta sauces are the perfect quick meal, as the return to school is just around the corner.

Don’s BBQ has ready-to-eat pulled pork and brisket available by the pound or as a sandwich.

Banjo Joe and Forte Farms are offering incredibly tasty peaches and fresh roasted peanuts. Chilled apple cider and fresh tomatoes are also on the sales table.

As the season progresses, the canning quantities of tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, sweet corn, peaches and apples are available. These fine choices can be found at DeVries farm stand. Their organically grown counterparts, including fresh cut flowers and herbs, can be found at Peach Valley’s CSA.

A multitude of canning tips and recipes can be found at the CSU Food preservation stand as they volunteer their help.

Watermelon and cantaloupe from Green River will be in abundant supply along with Rabbit Brush honey at Mesa Forge and Farm.

While completing your weekly shopping at this market one can also find homemade bread and at least 450 years of collective farming experience.

The Glenwood Springs Farmer’s Market is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday in the Rite-Aid parking lot, 1400 block of Grand Avenue in Glenwood Springs, through Oct. 27.
