Sound off! Post Independent launches short 1st quarter online readership survey

The Glenwood Springs Post Independent wants your feedback on how well we are serving the community.

The paper has created an online readership survey, which takes no more than 15 minutes to complete. It asks readers what they like and what they value in the different sections of the Post Independent.

Those who complete the survey can then register for a random drawing to win a free seven-day classified advertisement, a $50 gift card to Safeway, a $50 gift card to City Market or a $25 gas card.

“It’s been almost two years since we last asked your opinion about the Post Independent and our coverage of your community,” said Post Independent Publisher Stephanie Schafer. “We’ve made some changes and adjustments in that time, and now it’s time to hear from you again.”

The survey includes questions on:

• Topics of coverage for local news and sports

• Which opinion, humor, business and sports columnists you enjoy reading

• Where you think the paper’s editorial page falls on the conservative-to-liberal spectrum

• Your favorite comics

“The Post Independent takes pride in this community and in being a vital part of your daily life,” Schafer said. “Please take 15 minutes to fill out the survey and share your opinions on how you feel we are doing, and what kinds of news and information you value. Your input will help us in the continuation of providing our community with the best news and information.”

Readers can find the survey link on the home page of the Post Independent.

Scroll down to the “Features” section and click on the “Sound Off!” icon.

The survey is open until 11 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25.
