The New Castle Recreation Department offers a free pickleball clinic from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 in the gym at Riverside Middle School.
Pickleball is a sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, table tennis and volleyball. It is played on a court with a hard paddle and small wiffle ball. All necessary equipment will be provided.

Sign up for the Wednesday Night 9 pin No Tap league will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb, 27 at Burning Mountain Bowl in New Castle. Three-person teams will begin league play on March 6 for eight weeks.
Also, Tuesday Night Mixed League is still accepting teams for the spring season, the Thursday afternoon drop-in league is always accepting individuals, and the Saturday junior league takes place at 10 a.m. every Saturday.
