Clay Gross and the rest of Roaring Fork's baseball team open the Class 3A baseball playoffs at Holy Family High School on Saturday. The 15-4 Rams, seeded 12th among the 32 teams in the bracket, will face No. 21 Manitou Springs (10-9) at 12:30 p.m. If Roaring Fork wins, it'll face either No. 5 Holy Family (15-4) or No. 28 Estes Park (8-8) at 3 p.m. The winner of the four-team District 4 tournament will advance to the May 20 state tournament. Elsewhere in 3A, No. 20 Rifle (12-7) will head to Hotchkiss for the District 3 tournament. The Bears will open up against No. 13 Middle Park (15-2) at 12:30 p.m. Host Hotchkiss, the fourth seed with a 17-2 record, will face No. 29 Alamosa (10-8) at 10 a.m.
