Spring indoors to catch Home & Garden Show
it may not look like spring outside, but spring will be in full bloom this weekend at the Glenwood Springs Mall.The 17th annual Home and Garden Show is Friday through Sunday, March 7, 8 and 9, at the Glenwood Springs Mall, 51027 Highway 6 & 24 in West Glenwood. Booths will be open from 4-9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. There will be more than 40 vendors with various home improvement booths and lots of door prizes.The show is sponsored by the Glenwood Springs Post Independent, the Glenwood Springs Mall, Three Rivers Building Association, KMTS/KGLN radio and AT&T Media.On hand will be folks who can build you a house and people to help you fix up your home. Landscapers, plumbers, closet organizers, dust busters, and invisible fence specialists will be there with loads of information. Among the vendors are: Accent Windows of Western Colorado (Grand Junction); Accent on Tops, fabricators of countertops, showers and tables; Alpine Custom Homes – Lindal Cedar Homes; American Dream Homes, dealer for Amerlink Log Homes; the American Red Cross; Asphalt Surface Restoration & ASR Surface coatings, which use infrared technology to stamp decorative patterns into asphalt. Big John’s Building and Home Center has a line of do-it-yourself hardware, building materials and a contractor sales department; Canyon Fiberglass Refinishing and Repair repairs fiberglass and cast iron tubs and sinks; Chamberlains Closets & Cupboards offers space-efficient storage systems; Creative Concrete Design sells a polymerized concrete resurfacing system; Discount Lighting is a full-service lighting store and Domelby Corp. is a home builder.
