Stella Inez Larson
Stella Inez Larson, formerly of Glenwood Springs, died Monday, Jan. 20, 2003, at Life Care Center in Longmont. She was 85.
She was born Jan. 16, 1918, in Sage Hen Flats to Estafana Cordova and Flujencio Gomez.
She married Lorence Larson at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Glenwood Springs. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Larson was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Glenwood Springs.
She enjoyed crocheting and reading, and volunteered with the Girl Scouts and 4-H Clubs.
Mrs. Larson moved to Longmont in 1999.
Mrs. Larson is survived by sons Roger Burk of Washington, D.C., and Bruce Larson; by daughters Mary Hoffman of Windsor, and Pat Burk of Denver; by half-brothers Jerry Gomez, Manuel Gomez, Ronald Gomez and Charles Gomez, all of Western Colorado; by half-sister Helen Reeves of Paonia; and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, 1010 Grand Ave., in Glenwood Springs, with the Rev. Cliff McMillan officiating.
Burial will follow at Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood Springs.
Ahlberg Funeral Chapel of Longmont is in charge of arrangements.
