Stephen J. Di Campo

Stephen J. Di Campo of Glenwood Springs, CO, left this world March 24th, 2012.

Steve was born to Betty and Larry Di Campo in St. Louis, MO, on December 19th, 1954. As a high school junior, Steve rode his bicycle from St. Louis to the front range of Colorado and then decided to make the mountains his home. In 1982 he graduated from the Colorado Institute of Art with a degree in Advertising Design.

Steve’s move to Glenwood in 1987 further inspired his love of art through his many outdoor passions including fishing, biking and skiing in the Roaring Fork valley.

He is survived by his wife Elaine, parents, sister Chris, brother Mark, several nieces and nephews and the many wonderful friends whose lives he enriched.

“Thanks for all the great rides, all the great days on the river, and a great run at a great life. I’ve loved every minute of it.” Steve Di Campo

A memorial celebration will be planned for late spring.
