Stepstone Center’s Fashion and Talent Show returns

The Stepstone Center’s Second Annual Fashion and Talent Show will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Carbondale Community School.The evening begins at 7 p.m. and will be filled with thought-provoking performance art, music and dance celebrating the community. This year’s theme is “Outside the Box.” Fashion lines include an Origami Line, the Supreme Court Line and a food and recycled clothes line. The talent will run throughout the show.The event benefits the Stepstone Center, an organization dedicated to social justice and awareness, and the Carbondale Community Co-op. The price of a ticket includes beer and wine. Fresh juice and baked goods will be available for purchase. The Hideouts will play immediately following the performance.Tickets are on sale at Sounds Easy in Carbondale, by calling 618-1104 and at the door.
