Steve Lundin passed away peacefully June 23, 2008. He left as he lived, surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 2, 1959. After a childhood following his father, Fritz Lundin Sr., from country to country as a “military brat,” he settled in Glenwood Springs and completed high school. During those years he was an accomplished athlete, leading football, basketball, track and swim teams to many victories. The most important thing that happened to Steve was when he fell in love with his soulmate, Debbie. With her love and support he became a successful builder of homes. He became a proud parent with Debbie, and they raised three wonderful children: Jennica, Rebecca and Eric. They were the light of his life. Camping, sailing, golfing, hunting and skiing with his family was his passion. Steve is survived by his wife and children; brothers Fritz, Kurt and Gus; sister Patti; stepmom Cindy; and nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father; and mother, Bette. A celebration of Steve’s life will be held at 11 a.m. June 30 at the Glenwood Springs Golf Course. A pot luck lunch will follow. Contact Pam at 379-9705 to contribute to the lunch. Smiles must be brought by all.
