Steven Michael Halsey

Steven Michael Halsey, of Pueblo, passed away Sept. 23, 2005. He was 52.Steve was born April 12, 1953, in Beckley, W.Va. He graduated from Glenwood Springs High School, where he was a standout member of the football team.He graduated from Western State College in Gunnison with a bachelor of arts degree. Steve loved Colorado and the Rocky Mountains. He loved hiking, skiing, mountain climbing, photography, music, the Denver Broncos and the Democratic Party.He is survived by his mother, Wanda E. Halsey; brother Howard E. Halsey; and sister Connie L. (Charles) Neeley. He was preceded in death by his father, Onnie L. Halsey.Cremation took place at Montgomery & Steward Crematorium.A memorial service will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers, please donate a book to a library or plant a tree in his name.Condolences can be made online at the Web site http://www.montgomerysteward.com.
