Sting busts two for prostitution
PARACHUTE Two people were arrested for soliciting for prostitution Wednesday in an undercover operation at the VIP Spa in Parachute.According to a warrantless arrest affidavit, an undercover Parachute police officer entered the spa and was greeted by the 48-year-old owner, Yong Sun Fountain. She asked if he was there for a massage while putting her arm around his hips and escorting him to a massage room. She asked him where he was from, if it was his first time and if he wanted a “shower massage.”The officer said he wanted a regular massage, paid $70 for it and eventually lay down on a massage bed. Fountain had left the room and Soon Hee Kim, 41, entered the room wearing a green night gown. She told the officer to get off the bed and she arranged the sheets. While she did this, she grabbed his “privates,” the affidavit says. The officer lay face down on the massage bed unclothed except for a towel. Kim straddled him and massaged him for about 10 or 12 minutes. She then removed the towel and touched his crotch. The affidavit says she asked “if he liked it and if he wanted everything” while making an up and down hand motion. He said he did. She said it would cost $200.The officer paid and lay back down on the bed. The affidavit says Kim began touching and massaging his private area. After a short time, the undercover officer signaled others to make the arrests. The Two Rivers Drug Enforcement Team assisted the Parachute Police Department.Fountain and Kim were arrested on two counts of unlawful sexual contact and one count of soliciting for prostitution, according to the Garfield County Combined Courts office.A Glenwood Springs Police Department undercover operation at two Glenwood Springs Asian massage parlors produced two similar arrests last year.Contact Pete Fowler: 945-8515, ext. 16611 email@example.comPost Independent, Glenwood Springs Colorado CO
