GLENWOOD SPRINGS – Strawberry Days is back, bigger and better than ever.

The Glenwood Springs Mall will host the carnival, providing more room for new rides. The carnival will take place June 18-21 in the mall parking lot.

One-day unlimited ride passes are available in advance for $18 at Safeway, Alpine Banks [located in Glenwood Springs], the Glenwood Springs Mall and the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association. One-day passes will also be available at the carnival for $25, along with individual tickets that will cost $1.

Parking at the mall will be extremely limited so participants are encouraged to use the free Ride Glenwood buses to the carnival. Buses pick up and drop off in several locations with one stop at the mall.

Sayre Park will host the 112th Strawberry Days Festival, which takes place June 19-21. The festival is the oldest continuing civic celebration west of the Mississippi. This year’s theme is “A Chinese Celebration” and will include a parade, live music, Kidsfest, food, art fair and the carnival.
