It’s coffee break, no, get a break, no, take a break, no, what time is it again? Oh yeah! Spring Break!

Everyone at the Rifle CMC Campus will skip school March 15-19 as Re-2 schools go quiet. CMC’s Roaring Fork Campus students in Carbondale, Spring Valley and Glenwood will be happily truant the same week as the Re-1 School District, March 22-26. And to welcome back residential students after Spring Break, the Wednesday after students return, a band entitled Recycled Percussion will perform at 8:30 p.m., March 31, in the New Space Theatre on the Spring Valley Campus.

The cost is $5 for the public, and free to CMC students. This entertaining and lively ensemble employs purely instrumental trash cans, old sinks, tubs and other recyclables.
