HOTCHKISS – Organically grown at Jack Rabbit Hill, this is a special riesling with a bouquet of tropical blossoms, apricot and lychee fruit on the palate, with a clean lemon-lime finish.This organic riesling is great paired with spicy Asian rolls, tempura dishes, hard yellow cheeses like Gruyère, trout quesadillas and grilled fish tacos with a tangy tomato salsa.

Sorbet1 2/3 cups riesling wine1/2 cup water1/2 cup sugar1/4 cup fresh lime juiceBerries1 cup blackberries1 cup blueberries

1/2 cup raspberries2 tablespoons sugar3 tablespoons riesling wine1/2 teaspoon grated lime rindDirections1. To prepare sorbet, combine first four ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat; cook three minutes or until sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally.

2. Increase heat to medium-high; bring to a boil. Cook 30 seconds.3. Pour mixture into a bowl; cool. Cover and chill one hour.4. Pour mixture into the freezer can of an ice-cream freezer; freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions.5. Spoon sorbet into a freezer-safe container; cover and freeze 2 hours or until firm.6. To prepare berries, combine blackberries and remaining ingredients; toss gently. Cover and chill.8. Serve sorbet topped with berries.- Courtesy of
