In memory of Susan J. Phillips, beloved daughter, sister and companion. She worked hard and always lit life’s path with her beautiful dimples. She never met a stray cat she didn’t care for.Susan J. Phillips was born Jan. 12, 1955, to Carol and Fielding Phillips on the island of Guam. She worked as a nurse at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego. Later she was an administrative assistant for engineering at Conexant in San Diego.”You were taken from us much too soon. We miss you.”Susan is survived by her mother Carol and stepfather Bill Durkin, of Albuquerque; father Fielding (Lori) Phillips, of San Diego; sister Blye Phillips, of Phoenix; brother Steve Phillips and sons Austin and Travis, of Seattle; and the Boomhowers, of Colorado.Cremation has already taken place.Services are pending.
