Susan Kathleen Ogden
Susan Kathleen Ogden of Rifle died Sunday, April 25, 2004. She was 51.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, at the Rifle Elks Lodge No. 2195, 501 W. 5th St. in Rifle.
Mrs. Ogden was born June 5, 1952, in Jersey City, N.J., to Gloria Graves and James Dwyer. She spent her childhood in New Jersey.
She married Ed Ogden on Oct. 15, 1988, in Rifle.
Mrs. Ogden worked as a licensed practical nurse, and was employed at Garfield Vision for 15 years.
She enjoyed going hiking and camping with family and friends, and going to Lake Powell for boating. She also enjoyed gathering firewood, taking care of her yard and walking her dogs Rambo, Shelley and Chloe.
Mrs. Ogden is survived by her husband, Ed Ogden of Rifle; by her father and stepmother, James and Liz Dwyer of Park Ridge, N.J.; by her mother and stepfather, Gloria and George Hoyns of Cape May, N.J.; by a stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Dicey and Chris McKay; by brothers and sisters-in-law Lindsey and Bev Dwyer, James and Sharon Dwyer, and David Dwyer, all of New Jersey; and by many friends.
Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
