Susan Kay Bosworth Speaker

Susan Kay Bosworth Speaker of Rifle died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction. She was 54.

Mrs. Speaker was born in Fruita to Gerald and Bernice Reed Speaker on April 17, 1948.

She married Carl Bosworth on May 25, 2001, in Mesquite, Nev.



She lived in the Denver area for over 30 years and in the Rifle area for 20 years. She was a member of the Grace Bible Church of Battlement Mesa and worked for Garfield Steel as an accountant.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.



She is survived by husband Carl Bosworth; by son Dan Moore; by daughters Cindy Davis and Pam Prinz; and by five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the First Assembly of God Church, 550 E. 5th St., Rifle. Pastor Joe Berry will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rifle Funeral Home.
