Susanna E. Reynolds

Susanna E. Reynolds of Rifle died Friday, Oct. 18, 2002, at E. Dene Moore Memorial Home. She was 70.

She was born Dec. 4, 1931, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Charles and Marjorie (Peacock) Everest.

She graduated from Hollins College in Roanoke, Va.



She married Marvin Reynolds May 29, 1965, in Aspen.

Mrs. Reynolds lived in Aspen for 25 years, and in Rifle for the last 16 years.



She taught for six years in various countries in Europe and completed her teaching career in Aspen.

Survivors include her husband; son Ray Reynolds of Rifle; daughters Cathy Reynolds of Grand Junction and Susan White of Mesa, Ariz.; sister Florence Harrison of Frisco, Colo.; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m. at the Rifle Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 Access Road.

The Rev. Jim Warn will officiate.

Interment of ashes will take place in Aspen Thursday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Roaring Fork Hospice.
