Relax already.The Labor Day weekend has arrived and theres no reason to think about work when the area offers so much to do in so little time.For live music fans, the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Festival today through Monday is one event not to miss. The Allman Brothers, Leftover Salmon, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, Galactic and Michael Franti and Spearhead are a sampling of the acts set to entertain. Along with the main stage, the festival offers after-dark performances in Aspen and Snowmass Village. See http://www.jazzaspen.org for a complete schedule.Art lovers can take in the scenery of the Crystal River Valley while appreciating work by local artists on the grounds of the Redstone Inn. The 12th annual Redstone Art Foundation Art Show begins with an artists reception from 6-8 p.m. today, continuing 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Labor Day.Mediums featured in the show include oil, watercolor, pastel, wood, photography, sculpture, pottery, glass, basket-weaving and jewelry.It is our premier event for Redstone every year, said Lisa Wagner, of Crystal Dreams Bed & Breakfast in Redstone. To have all the artists there is a big deal for us.

As part of the Magical Moments Redstone Concert Series, the Heart of the Rockies play country-western, rock and bluegrass from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sunday in Redstone Park.Family-friendly entertainment is also on tap at the Garfield County Fairgrounds Gentle-giant horses take center stage for the sixth annual Colorado Draft Horse Classic today through Sunday. Exhibitions include mens and ladies cart classes, mule and farm teams log skidding, feed team races and obstacle courses. Food and craft vendors showcasing their art, food, attire, services and products, including blacksmithing and iron works, will also be featured.
