Ted J. Diaz Jr. of Rifle Colorado died on Sept. 29, 2010 in Grand Junction. He was 60.

He was born to Ted and Jo Diaz on Oct. 30, 1951. He was a lifetime resident of Rifle.

He graduated from Rifle High in 1969 and continued his education at Mesa State College and CMC to receive his AA degree. He had his own business, High Country Accounting, in Rifle.



Ted had many interests and hobbies which included, big game hunting, fishing, boating, golfing, reading, cooking, motorcycling and loved game shows, He also loved performing at weddings, other ceremonies and listening to music.

He was an avid hunting guide and also loved family gatherings and spending time with his many friends.



He was a member of Moose Lodge in Rifle and Elks Lodge # 2195. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Rifle.

Services for Teddy will be a mass at St. Mary’s Parish at 7th and Birch in Rifle on Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 11a.m. at Elks Lodge at 501 W. 5th in Rifle followed by a potluck luncheon.
