The Bear opens Wednesday
The Jim Calaway Honors Series presents “The Bear, An Extravaganza,” featuring Metropolitan Opera baritone David Malis, Opera Colorado mezzo-soprano Marcia Ragonetti and baritone Scott MacCracken, at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, March 26 and 27, at Colorado Mountain College Spring Valley New Space Theater. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students, and can be reserved by calling 947-8367.
Opening are poets Karen Chamberlain of Glenwood Springs, David J. Rothman of Crested Butte and James Tipton of Fruita.
Individuals being honored for their contributions to Colorado Mountain College are Linda and Peter Jeschofnig.
