Thomas Neuroth was here on this earth for 56 years. He grew up in Iowa in a big Catholic family, and had many adventures before moving to our beautiful valley 30 years ago. He was born on Aug. 7, 1951, and died on Thursday, May 8, 2008.

Tom’s accomplishments in life include many types of employment, and his main role was one of being a decent human being above all, and to that end he was very successful.

Tom’s path was one of the peaceful warrior. His connection to God, as he understood him, and his fellow human beings was inspiring to all who knew him and his light touched many people with joy and a very strange sense of humor. Tom also understood the importance of good mental health, and enlisted so many people to help him on his recent journey through depression. We thank them all.

Tom’s greatest treasure is his family which includes his lovely wife and friend Patti; son Todd Neuroth, wife Nikki and their children Mary Ann and TeeJay; son Benjamin Neuroth, wife Shari and their children Brittany and Emily; and son Jeremiah Brown and his daughters Shaelyn and McKenzie. He is also survived by a big family of in-laws, outlaws and strays.

A celebration of Tom’s life was held on May 20.
