Thomas Edward Neuroth

Thomas Edward Neuroth, 56, passed away May 8, 2008.

He was born Aug. 7, 1951.

Tom grew up in Iowa in a big Catholic family, and had many adventures before moving to the Roaring Fork Valley 30 years ago.

Tom’s accomplishments in life include many types of employment.

His main role was one of being a decent human being above all, and to that end he was very successful. Tom’s path was one of the peaceful warrior. His connection to God as he understood him and his fellow human beings was inspiring to all who knew him, and his light touched many people with joy and a very strange sense of humor.

Tom understood the importance of good mental health, and enlisted so many people to help him on his recent journey through depression.

Tom’s greatest treasure was his family.

Survivors include Patti, his friend and wife; sons Todd (Nikki) Neuroth, Benjamin (Shari) Neuroth, and Jeremiah; grandchildren Mary Ann and T.J., Brittany and Emily, and Shaelyn and Mckenzie; in-laws; outlaws and strays.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, at Mountain View Church, 2195 County Road 154 in Glenwood Springs.
