Thoughts and prayers from Duluth

Dear Editor,

I cannot even begin to adequately express my horror over the current fire disaster hitting Colorado and, specifically, beautiful Glenwood Springs!

I was fortunate to spend a full week in Glenwood last summer, after which I left with wonderful memories, a ton of awesome pictures and full intentions of returning!

And now, as I watch the nightly news and follow newsbreaks on the internet, my heart breaks for each and every one of you. I am reminded, too, of the many men and women who lost their lives fighting that earlier major fire and are now memorialized in your lovely park.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers, along with those of millions of others, are with each and all of you. Stay strong, stay safe and God Bless.
