Time to head to Telluride
When: Today through Monday
Where: Telluride (about 3 hours and 45 minutes south of Glenwood Springs)
The low-down: Many years back, the MountainFilm festival was started by a group of climbing buddies, out to make a difference with celluloid. Three decades on, this “Sundance of adventure film” is still perveying cultural and outdoor movies to audiences from around the world. This isn’t your ordinary film festival, it seems, but more of an open dialogue. Here, audiences can partake of a multitude of grass-roots films focused on social, environmental and cultural issues that otherwise might not get a voice.

Why? As the MountainFilm motto puts it, come “celebrate the indomitable spirit.”
Start a dialogue, stay on topic and be civil.
If you don't follow the rules, your comment may be deleted.
The moratorium will prevent RMR Industrials from applying to update the special use permit for the limestone quarry north of Glenwood Springs.
