Tire slasher cuts victim to the quick

Dear Editor,

On Wednesday night in Carbondale, someone went on a tire-slashing rampage. I was one of the targets, and I’m mad.

I can’t tell you anything about the age, gender, or background of the culprit(s), but I do know this: We have all had our moments of mischief in our lives, but purposely destroying property is unacceptable. I have to pay $150 of my own money to get my tire replaced. That isn’t right! Do they know what kinds of problems this is causing for the victims? My neighbor ended up with four slashed tires. That is a major expense and inconvenience!

I hope the Carbondale police do everything in their power to nab the criminals. I want my money back. I want to take my new tire receipt and smack it in the face of the dirtbag that did this.
