‘Tis the season for a Ghost Walk in Glenwood Springs

The Glenwood Springs Historical Society’s annual fundraiser is back for the 24th time: the Ghost Walk, a Historical Society news release states.

Take a nice hike up to Linwood Cemetery, home of Doc Holliday’s grave, about a quarter of a mile up. Wear sturdy shoes, as it can get slippery and bring a flashlight for when it gets dark.

After listening to the ghosts tell their stories and the history, hike back down and help yourself to treats and hot cider. Cider mix is on sale, too.

Any partakers in the Ghost Walk must have a ticket purchased beforehand, as all hikes are only allowed to a certain number of people.

The first Ghost Walks on the weekends are on Fridays and Saturdays at 6:30 p.m. and the last hikers go up at 8:30 p.m.

Slots are 6:30 p.m,, 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Oct. 11-12 and 18-19. The 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. slots on Oct. 19 are sold out.

There is a special Ghost Walk at the Vaudeville Revue at 7 p.m. on Oct. 30, where patrons can listen to the ghosts and eat.

Buy your tickets at gwsphistoricalsociety.yapsody.com/. Tickets are $25 for each person.
