Tracy Alan Sproule

Tracy Alan Sproule of Rifle died Sunday, April 25, 2004. He was 40.

Cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time.

Mr. Sproule was born Oct. 10, 1963, in Tracy, Calif., to Ruth Simms and Jerry Sproule. He spent his childhood in California.

He married Cheryl Sproule on May 7, 1999, in El Dorado County, Calif.

They lived in Rifle for the past two and a half years, where Mr. Sproule worked as a night supervisor at Wal-Mart in Rifle. He formerly worked as a professional firefighter on a Hot Shot crew in California.

An avid fisherman and outdoors person, Mr. Sproule was liked by everyone who knew him.

Mr. Sproule is survived by his wife, Cheryl Sproule of Rifle; by his parents, Jerry and Ruth Sproule of California; by sons Nathan Sproule of Placerville, Calif., and Daniel Sproule of Rifle; by daughters Jody Sproule and Megan Peitz, both of Placerville, Calif.; by brothers Michael Sproule and Roger Hill of Alaska, Brian Hill of Placerville, Calif., and Jerry Sproule of Hayward, Calif.; and by sisters Kathy Sproule of Berkeley, Calif., and Susie Arubu of Placerville, Calif.

Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
