Treasurer candidate to speak to Garfield County Republicans

J.J. Ament, Republican candidate for state treasurer, will be in Rifle on Wednesday, Aug. 12, to speak to the Garfield County Republican monthly luncheon as part of his campaign tour through the Western Slope and Southwest Colorado.

The luncheon will be at noon at Fiesta Guadalajara, 1214 Access Road in Rifle.

J. J. Ament is a life-long Coloradan and former investment banker with 10 years of experience specializing in public finance serving state treasurers and government CFOs from around the country.

Report: Estimates of future Upper Colorado River Basin water use confound previous planning
