Halloween is here again, and the kiddos will be out and about this Saturday Trick-or-Treating. So, take some advice from Glenwood Police Chief Terry Wilson and please pay attention.
Terry’s Trick-or-Treating tips:
• Be careful crossing the street. Pay attention for motorists. And Motorists, pay close attention to children out and about.
• Carry a flashlight and wear reflective clothing if trick-or-treating after dark.
• Travel in groups for higher visibility.
• Parental supervision is encourage especially with younger trick or treaters.
• Inspect candy before taking a bite. Anything that appears to have been tampered with throw away.
• The earlier the better. Terry says, there is nothing wrong with Trick-or-Treating before dark. Besides, it’ll be warmer than waiting until dark.
