TRIDENT takes four people into custody on drug charges
RIFLE, Colorado ” According to a press release, Two Rivers Drug Enforcement Team (TRIDENT), along with other county, area and federal agencies, have taken four individuals into custody on various drug-related charges on Tuesday. Roberto Gutierrez, 25, and Lucia Trinidad, 21, are being held at the Garfield County Jail, each on $31,600 bond. Both are being charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance (cocaine and methamphetamine), child abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia among other charges. Manuel Martinez-Ibarra, 39 and Angel Antonio Lopez, 33, have both been charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance (cocaine) and both have posted bond and been released.
The TRIDENT officers have been investigating the distribution of cocaine and methamphetamine in the Rifle area for the past few months and recovered methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana. Department of Human Services were called in reference to children at two of the locations.
