Will you run again? undecided

Why did you decide to run for the board? Primarily it’s important for people to participate in the democratic process. Everyone should take their turn in serving.

What is satisfying about serving? Seeing positive things happen through collaborative efforts between citizens and local government.

What are some of the frustrations? It can be very time consuming and take a while for ideas and implementation to come to fruition

Sum up Carbondale: It’s a place full of energetic and creative people engaged in their community in a beautiful setting.

Number-one challenge facing Carbondale? Housing and real estate costs are far outpacing what normal people, normal businesses can afford. It will be an enormous challenge for Carbondale to retain a diverse population and the people that fill all the roles that create a sense of community. The pace of these changes is happening so rapidly that we’re in denial, not creating solutions quickly enough.
