GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado ” Two more contractors filed liens against the proposed Cattle Creek Colorado this month.

Plan Express, Inc., of Tennessee, claims in a lien filed March 20 that Related WestPac and River Bend Colorado owe it $36,302. Resource Engineering, Inc., , claims in a lien filed March 23 that River Bend Colorado owes it $15,710.

Four other contractors had already filed liens against the companies this month claiming they’re owed a total of around $412,000.

A Related WestPac spokesman said the companies will be in contact with vendors to “work to resolve it as quickly and efficiently as possible.”

Related WestPac and River Bend Colorado hope to build over 1,000 homes in the Cattle Creek area. One of the contractors said the developers had been great about paying promptly until the end of 2008.

Developers were granted a request by the Garfield County Planning Commission to continue discussion of the Cattle Creek Colorado proposal until July 22.
