Valley Wellness Centers to offer headache presentation

The Valley Wellness Centers of Glenwood Springs and Basalt will offer a free health presentation, “Headaches – causes and treatment,” Tuesday, Jan. 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 1517 Blake Avenue, Suite 203 in Glenwood Springs.The featured speaker will be Aarin Meager-Benson. Benson is a naturopathic physician who uses herbs, vitamins, homeopathy, counseling, nutrition and craniosacral therapy in her practice. She specializes in car accident injuries, pediatrics, pain, fatigue and emotional problems such as depression and anxiety.Many people experience headaches, and have a decreased quality of life because of the limitations headaches create. Benson will discuss causes of headaches from a naturopathic perspective. Finding the cause is the first step toward healing.
