Vance Flynn of Rifle left us all too soon on June 21, 2011. He was 35.Vance was born May 15, 1976 in Glenwood Springs to John & Julie (Schultz) Flynn.While attending high school in Rifle, Vance ranked in the top three nationwide in bull riding. He searched for and found a deep and abiding faith in God. Vance loved being outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, camping or riding his horses. He was always busy planning his next adventure with his family and friends. Vance was a wonderful partner, father, son, brother and friend. He was loved by all who knew him, he will be dearly missed and forever remembered.Vance leaves behind his parents, John and Julie; partner, Kristy Christensen; son, Beau; daughters, Sadie & Lindsey Christensen; brothers, Brian, Jason and Jesse; sister, Alicia; and numerous friends.A memorial service is planned for Saturday, June 25, 2p.m. at the New Creation Church in New Castle. Immediately following the services will be a reception at the home of Butch & Eileen Pressler, 123 Panoramic Drive in Silt.
