Vandals cause $20,000 damage at car dealership
GLENWOOD SPRINGS ” Police here received a report Monday that 18 trucks were keyed over the weekend, causing an estimated $20,000 in damage.
Glenwood Springs police chief Terry Wilson said sometime between 6 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, someone used a sharp object to scratch the paint on 18 new pickup trucks at Glenwood Springs Ford.
“It looks like someone walked through and went up the side of one and across the hoods of 17 more,” Wilson said.
He said the department is investigating the vandalism.
