Vaughan appointed to state property tax committee
DENVER, Colorado – Gov. John Hickenlooper announced the appointment of Phil Vaughan of Rifle to the State Property Tax Advisory Committee.
Vaughan was appointed to a four-year term representing the Western Slope and as a Republican.
The Advisory Committee to the State Property Tax Administrator reviews and approves or disapproves manuals, appraisal procedures and instructions prepared and published by the property tax administrator.
Also appointed to the committee was Eagle County Assessor Mark Chapin.
The appointments must be confirmed by the Colorado Senate.
